12 different ways to dress up your sweater/knitwear in 90 seconds

Shorter days may make winter seem dull, but your outfits don’t have to be

Here's a list of the types of sweaters to keep in your wardrobe:

1. Balloon/Large sleeves

Love the flexibility of rolling up my sleeves to create another look. Oversized sweaters are extremely versatile; it doesn’t have to be casual, you can dress it up however you like with different coats/jackets! Black and white oversized sweater from Monki.

2. Cable-knits

Can’t go wrong with the basics. Solid colours are always the easiest to match with the rest of your attire. I've always thought cable-knit sweaters looked more cutesy compared to the rest. Tell me what you think!  White cable-knit sweater from Mango.

3. Ribbed

Ribbed sweaters are absolutely stunning to pair with skirts. And don’t forget them thigh-high boots. Did you know high-waisted bottoms give you the illusion of longer legs? Try it out. Mustard cropped ribbed sweater from Topshop.

4. Turtlenecks/Roll necks

Great for crazy cold weathers when you need to hide from the wind. It kind of adds sophistication to your look too no? It's one of those hit or miss sweaters for me cause I don't love the idea of having fabric round my neck constantly; but this is definitely a great addition if you're looking for style and protection from the cold! Red turtleneck with gold buttons from Zara.

5. Fluffies/Fleece

Hands-down my best picks for feeling comfy. Switch it up a notch with fluffy sweaters. It looks so lovely without even trying too hard. To be honest, I'd say yes to anything soft and fluffy so I'd be biased on this one. Pink fluffy sweater from Topshop.

Added in some coats and jackets to show you how you can pair it with your sweaters x
